The Colorado Springs area is a very artistic community with a great zoo, beautiful scenery and several small towns surrounding it! One of my favorites is, Manitou Springs set in a little valley at the foot of Pike’s Peak. As you walk down the street there are singers and street vendors and a Restaurant at the end of every block. Set around the healing spring waters of Manitou Valley this little town is a must stop if you are ever in the area.
The highlight of this little metropolis in the middle of paradise is a quaint little creperie restaurant named Coquette Creperie. This is a Gluten Free Haven with crepes of all kinds. From the typical breakfast crepe with eggs and sausage to my favorite the Tula with Chicken, sautéed peppers, tzatziki sauce and feta cheese. There are 12 Lunch/Dinner crepes as well as numerous breakfast and desert crepes to choose from.
Chef Scott is a master at the crepe, and he and his staff have perfected one of the most simple foods on the planet - best of all they made it Gluten Free!
“I refuse to substitute flavor just because it is gluten free” - Chef Scott
In fact everything on the menu at Coquette Creperie is Gluten Free. Trust me, your gluten eating friends will not care one bit either! The Coquette Creperie has received numerous area awards for their amazing fare and recently was voted 4 stars! Congrats to Chef Scott and the gang at Coquette Creperie!
